Ease into parenthood

As a postpartum doula, I support families in the first days, weeks, and months with a new baby. My goal is to reduce your fears and increase your confidence in parenting. I do so through education, emotional support, recovery from labor and delivery, infant feeding support, and light housekeeping. I work with you to lessen the stresses of eating, sleeping, bathing, and taking care of your family so that you can focus on healing and bonding. This support used to be provided to every birthing person by our sisters, aunties, neighbors. Even though the village has dispersed, everyone deserves a doula, and that includes you!

  • Mothering the Mother

Not sleeping while baby sleeps? Go figure! How could you when you are in physical pain, emotionally up and down, haven’t eaten or showered, or had a moment to just be by yourself. My primary job is to meet your needs so that you can go on to be the parent you intend to be.

  • How do I...Baby?

Did they send you home with a whole human and no instructions on what to do with it?! That’s ok! We can cover all of the baby basics from sleeping, feeding, changing, bathing, playing, and development.

  • Family Bonding

Whether this baby is your first or fifth - each baby brings a special dynamic that we have to learn. Many things get in the way of connecting with our babies after birth, as well as connecting with our partner or other children. I work with you to understand each of your relationships and work with your strengths to promote connectedness.

Service Offerings

  • Starting at $50/hour

I recommend clients engage for 4 hours/day, 2 days/week for 6-8 weeks. However, I believe everyone deserves postpartum doula support and I will work with whatever arrangement your family most needs. I am willing to work with you for insurance reimbursement and/or discuss sliding scale arrangements.

  • Starting at $100

A two-hour session (can be virtual or in-person) to establish a custom post-partum plan for your family. We start with what to expect after giving birth and work through plans for eating, sleeping, mental health, and physical recovery for the first 12 weeks postpartum.
